Privacy Policy

recipHub ("recipHub," "we," "us") helps you save recipes, plan meals, and build grocery lists. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

Information you provide

Account details — your email address and name when you create an account, sign in with Apple or Google, or update your profile. If you use a password, we store only a securely hashed version, never the password itself.
Your content — the recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, cookbooks, ratings, and any recipe photos you add. This is the core of the app and is stored so it syncs across your devices.
Photos you scan or import — when you scan a grocery note or import a recipe from a photo, that image is sent for processing to extract the text (see "Service providers"). Scan images are not stored after processing; a photo you attach to a saved recipe is stored as part of that recipe.

Information collected automatically

Subscription data — if you subscribe to recipHub Pro, our payments partner (RevenueCat) records your purchase and renewal status and a device identifier to keep your subscription working across your devices. Apple or Google processes the payment; we never receive your card details.

Stays on your device

Your dietary preferences, allergies, and calorie/macro goals, along with display settings like units and default servings, are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and operate the app — to:

create and secure your account and sign you in;
store and sync your recipes, plans, lists, and cookbooks;
turn a photo or link into a recipe or grocery list;
generate recipe adaptations and weekly insights when you ask for them;
manage your subscription; and
send account emails such as password-reset links.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with data brokers.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the app:

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We share only what each provider needs, and only to operate recipHub.

Family sharing

If you join a household, the grocery items you add to a shared list are visible to other members of that household. Leaving the household stops further sharing.

How long we keep it, and deleting your account

We keep your account and content until you delete them. You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile and all associated recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, cookbooks, and ratings from our servers. This cannot be undone. Canceling a subscription is separate and is done in your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to your data is limited to operating the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

recipHub is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account in the app, and for any other request contact us at av1yan.ad@gmail.com. We do not sell personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
